Manufactured 2004, Solingen, Germany, Mastodon ivory. No bark; this is dense flawless creamy core ivory. My flat-bed scanner shows the bright blades dark. New, unused knife. Some VERY faint blade rubs, otherwise no flaws. Very snappy, half stops on all blades. Nickel silver pins are set a little proud to protect ivory from cracking and also from outside trauma. 3 7/8 inches closed.
