It's great to finally see this pair of hunters. I heard a bit about them from Nick. They turned out really nice. I prefer the guard on the top one and the blade profile on the bottom.
Cuchillo muy bonito .Si fuera mío , le haría un buen grabado en la cuchilla de acero ( hoja ) y lo esmaltaría . Quedaría precioso .
Formaría parte de mi colección .

Very beautiful knife. If it was mine, he/she would make him a good engraving in the steel kitchen knife (leaf) and it would enamel it. It would be beautiful.
It would be part of my collection.
Hey Jamie, thanks buddy. I think it's an optical illusion, but the blades are actually the same. The only thing different are the spacers behind the guards. Oh, and Mark's (dad's) is right-handed, and Justin's is left-handed.
My good friend Bill Cottrell (plain 'ol bill) made me a stencil...so Justin's name is etched on the other side of his blade. This is NOT something I would normaly do, but this father/son duo are just flat good folks and I know Justin, who is about 12, will appreciate his knife.
The blades are O1 finished to 600x, 416 guards and pommels, and the antler is from an elk Mark tagged in '02. Yes, he gave it to me!
Seeing how your more experienced in these matters than I, I will have to agree with you. They say the human eye is one of the most accurate measuring tools there is. Apparently that just holds true on the East Coast, LOL!
Stupendous work, Nick, as always. (Stupendous ? Hmmm... never used that word before, but thought I should pull that out for you.) Your work is as clean as clean can get. Jason.
