Ok, I am trying to figure out what types of sheaths came with the large lock backs. So far I have come to realise the sheaths with the belt loop (stitched on) came with the Uncle Henry's. I have also seen both brown and black used with LB7 and LB8 models. Black sheathes were used more so early on than the later models it seems. The sheaths with the slit or stamped out belt loop are used on the Old Timer large lock back 6OT, 7OT and 9OT's. The belt loop I have also seen with early model 7OT only. Just some observations I'm throwing out there. Perhaps there is more on this subject elsewhere in these forums. But I know collectors like to match their knives with the correct stuff they came with. That is why the subject of boxes was brought up by me earlier a few weeks ago. Enjoy collecting!
