where do i get a matriarch? i've only been on bladeforums about a month. i like them, but i can't find one. HELP ME!!!
 
Unless you live in South Africa or Israel, Matriarchs are only available through the Spyderco Factory Outlet. They require that:
A) You are a Bladeforums member
B) You may only purchase 3 max
C) You do not intend to resell them.

The Bladeforums edition has a dark gray handle rather than standard black and I think only 500 were made. Not sure about current availability.

I've seen/heard reports in three different news sources this week that South Africa now has the highest incidence of reported rapes in the world - and estimates are that many more are not reported. This sounds like a good reason why a matriarch or any other woman in that market might want a good tool to convey the message: "No means NO!"
