Codeman is correct, The issue with the Matriarch in the US is price. We would prefer that this does not become a high volume model in America.

Perhaps it the Matriarch, for civilian sales, was made part of a bundle, priced for people who are fairly serious of purpose - the knife, a trainer, an instruction video, and a donation to a non-profit that deals with violence prevention of victim assistance.

Just out of curiosity (I haven't been to a gun show recently) - have the "usual suspects" (biologically improbable expletives deleted) peddled cheap clones of the Matriarch or Civilian yet?
