He added a false grind after the picture was taken. Only looked at since I got it...chopped some air. \

Not fully sharpened grind along the last 4.25" on both sides, so it is not a true double edge knife, if it were...it would be illegal in some states. Makes for better penetration. Dark spot is oil.
