I have a near mint condition Matt Cucchiara Scrapper framelock flipper with hand carved titanium handle slabs, a hand carved titanium pocket clip, and a handrubbed CPM 154 recurve blade for sale. Matt's carved pieces are all one-of-a-kind works, and he calls this one the "Dragon in the Clouds". Featuring a pocket clip carved to look like a dragon's tail, this piece is arguably the most detailed and impressive of all of Matt's carved works to date.
The Scrapper flipper listed here has been carried and used very lightly, but it has never been resharpened, and its original edge from Matt is very sharp. It shows no signs of wear and appears mint. The flip action is very powerful; the knife can be flipped open easily with zero wrist action from any angle. The lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is dead perfect.
***TRADED***
The specs:
Condition: Near mint
Blade length: 3 7/8" from tip to handle
Overall length: 8 7/8"
Blade thickness: 3/16" at ricasso
Blade steel: S30V
Blade finish: Handrubbed
Edge: Plain
Handle slab material: Titanium, hand carved and heat colored
Lock: Titanium frame lock, hand carved and heat colored
Backspacer: Titanium, hand carved and heat colored
Clip: Tip up, titanium, hand carved and heat colored
For payment on this piece, I strongly prefer USPS money orders, but I will also accept PayPal or personal check if I know you. If you are paying by PayPal, I will cover the fees, but the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I reserve the right to wait for personal checks to clear before I ship.
I will consider trades (with appropriate cash adjustment) for custom folders and custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:
JL Williams
Tim Galyean
Kit Carson
Deryk Munroe
Gerry McGinnis
Jim Burke
Rick Hinderer
Charles Marlowe
Jim Smyth
DB Fraley
Matt Cucchiara
Todd Begg
Bob Lum
Scott Cook
Tom Mayo
Neil Blackwood
Ken Onion
Phil Boguszewski
Flavio Ikoma (balis only)
Mauricio Dobruski (balis only)
I may consider trades for other custom folders not listed above. However, I am not interested in serrated blades, production knives, or fixed blades other than those by Tim Galyean, John Young, Jerry Hossom, or Russ Andrews.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
