Sirocco titanium framelock prototype from 2004.
This one is a big knife. 4 3/8” S30V blade, 9 ¾” overall opened length.
Nice fizzed flame design on handle and around the pivot. On the framelock side there is a nice matchstick pocket clip with a fizzed flame above it.
The flamed fizz pattern is lightly anodized and the frame is anodized around the edges—a very nice touch.
EDITED TO ADD: Matt informed me that the anodizing and satin finish on the handle slabs was not done by him. The work is nicely done, but performed by a previous owner.
This one had some slight front to back blade play, so I sent it to Matt and he fixed it right up. It now has buttery smooth opening and rock solid lockup as expected. Blade is perfectly centered in the closed position.
I am going to rate this one in excellent condition. I don’t think it was carried, but it might have been used a little. There are some light scuffs on the blade flats—one of these is apparent on the right side. Upon close inspection under office lighting, I can detect some very light scratches on the grinds, but I could not capture these in a pic.
Price is $800>> $685>>$600 Now SOLD shipped. (paypal +3%). I am not particularly interested in trades at this time, but will consider other Cucchiara non-flipper knives, Jones Bros. blades and interesting Busse's. I may also consider other customs, so feel free to give me a shout.
Thanks, PM and/or email questions.
