Hello Gents,
Up for sale is The War Cleaver from our very own Matt Lamey.
So far its one of a kind and according to Matt likely to stay that way as it was a bear to forge/finish.
Comes with a great quick-release drop leg sheath made by Rob at Survival Sheath.
Its as received from Matt, just a coat of wax to prevent staining. Hasn't so much as cut paper, just taken out of the sheath to admire.
Here are the specs:
The blade is 13-1/4" long x 3-1/2" wide at "clip"
Forged from 1095, 1/4" at spine, no distill taper, sharpened clip
Overall length is approx 18-1/2" and it has exposed "window knocker" tang
Handle is grooved Ironwood.
Yes, I know it's not the greatest picture but trying to capture Matt's wonderful hamons is difficult at the best of times.
The price is SOLD 950USD shipped to the continental US and Canada.
I accept Paypal (no additional fees required) and International Money Orders. Canadian members can also use Bank Transfers.
Im open to partial trades but really have nothing in mind. No harm in letting me know what you have to offer.
However, please keep the trade offers limited to North America as shipping overseas adds up quickly.
As usual the first Ill take it trumps interested in or PM sent.
If you have any questions please let me know and yes I can provide additional pictures.
Stay Safe,
