Last year Matt Roberts was named the Best New Maker at the Blade Show and here are two of the reasons that he won the award.

The Chopper is 14.75" overall and the blade is 9.75". It is forged from .375" 1065. The spine is heavily radiused with deep swedges. The handle is absolutely stunning amboyna burl with 416 stainless guard and pin. The matching Personal Carry is 9.25" overall and the blade is 4.375".

Exceptionally nice set! Quick question---is the .375" (3/8") thickness correct? And what is the thickness on the companion?

The Chopper was forged from a 0.375" bar of 1065

The actual width of its spine is 0.3125" or 5/16ths.The PC's spine is 0.1875 or 3/16ths.
