Hi Gents,

Doug (leatherbird) asked me to post up some pics of his Matt Roberts bowie for you all to have a look at. I'll let him add the details. Gotta get me a Roberst some time soon.

Matt sent me these and I have access issues with my hosting site this week,so I asked Roger and voila!

This is my third Matt Roberts Bowie and the smallest at 7 3/4" blade,tip to guard.12 1/2" overall.
W2 steel,just shy of 1/4" with rounded spine.
Stainless guard and ferrule.
Has a nice hardening line.
If you like highly figured wood this stabilized Buckeye burl will work well,have another 9 1/2" Buckeye burl and it's just as nice.
Matt's work is very clean.

Matt just messaged me.
It's a hardening line not a hamon,no clay was used in this piece.
