I recently acquired this early Matt Roberts guardless bowie in a trade. An awesome, impressive blade, but I'm really not a big blade guy at heart.

Blade is W2 with a satin finish, fitted into a pretty copper piece with I'm guessing is a maple handle. Handle is highly figured and fits the hand like a dream. The blade is 7 3/8", handle is a comfy 5 1/2". Spine width is about .310". I see zero evidence of any usage on this blade. The edge is razor sharp. As you can see it comes with a leather JRE Industries sheath. I hear Matt Roberts has really scaled back his knifemaking operations so this may be a rare one.

I am asking $350 $340 $330 $320 $310 $300 shipped.

SPF to t1mpani

Paypal (plus fee) and money orders accepted. CONUS only please.

Trade offers will be entertained for custom slipjoints. (Looking especially for Ken Erickson, Ken Coats, Rick Menefee, T.A. Davison, Ian VanReenan)

Please feel free to PM or email with any questions.
Thanks for looking.

Another bump with price reduction.
Nearing the floor on price cuts.
Very nice bowie here folks...

Let's bump this one up again.

This is a gorgeous piece priced well below its worth by a maker certainly known for high quality work. I can't believe it's still here.

Bump with last price reduction.
We are now on the basement floor for price.

I cannot see a visible hamon. It has what looks like a hand-rubbed satin finish over the complete blade.
