Matthew Axelson Foundation Memorial Day Giveaway Closes Monday 7/1

Thank you for your generosity and the opportunity. Liked, shared and I'm in!

In The Netherlands (aka Holland) we remember the fallen every year on May 4th with different ceremonies and with two minutes of silence through the entire country followed with the national anthem. The public transport will stop as well (busses, trams, subways, trains) wherever the are. Cars will get aside of the highway and planes on the airport all will park. On the centre Dam Square in my city Amsterdam there is the National Monument for the fallen of the Second World War in front of the palace (which was actually city town hall before we became a stupid monarchy) before which a lot of people gather to watch the ceremonies and keep two minutes of silence together.

Thank you Americans and Canadians for not having to speak German nowadays!

Thanks for the generosity!

I don't have FB but would still like to enter the giveaway, if possible.

Cheers!

Jeru, Sadly I think too many have forgotten the lessons of history, and the price paid for freedom here in the US., and take a lot for granted.
