MATTHEW BAILEY SAN MAI UTILITY/HUNTER
One heck of a beautiful knife and that's why I grab this one that Matt offered 4 weeks ago...and knowing fair well that I have an abundance of knives already in this size...it's taken me this long to offer it up because it's so comfortable in the hand, my third and forth fingers just ride each side of the handle swell with the pinky falling in the contoured rear of the blade perfectly ...but I've mentioned that I already have enough in this size so it's being offered up at what Matt originally listed it at

Matt's San Mai uses a core of 1084 which is sandwiched by high nickel layers for a beautiful finish...with a little forge finish at the guard
The guard is black linen micarta with a maroon micarta spacer. The handle is stabilized sycamore. It has some really nice pattern, with a tiny bit of splatting in the belly of the handle.
The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and hand tooled leather.
