Warren Axe and Tool Co. of Warren Pennsylvania was one of the great old axe houses. The specialized in making tools for industry, primarily the logging and railroad industries. They were sold to to Collins in 1950. The chainsaw was transforming the logging industry.

Warren Tool Corp. of Warren, Ohio sold a ton of striking tools in the 60s and 70s and even into the 90s. It was good stuff. Their stamp was 'WARREN-TEED'.
