maxamet vs cruwear ?

I am interested in getting a manix 2 in one of these , any input would be appreciated

They are so different. I have both and I will say... If you are tough on your knife, get Cru-wear. Maxamet is amazing, but it does not have much toughness, so if you are aware of that and only use the knife as a cutting tool, without much abuse, it is a great choice. I like both a lot, but if I could only buy one, I would probably get the KC carbon fiber and Cru-Wear Manix 2. Or I would get a cheap knife with some toughness like a Ontario Rat 1 or 2 with an Aus-8 blade that I can use hard and then get the Maxamet that can cut forever.
Good luck on the choice bud! It is a tough one!! But you will not be disappointed with either one.
