I am not sure if this is the proper forum to post this but since so many makers had dealings with Maxine at Texas Knifemaker's Supply over the past number of years I thought that I would post it here.

I received an email today concerning the passing of Maxine. She had been ill for quite some time now. She was truly one of the "good folks" in our craft. Her knowledge in many aspects of knifemaking was unfathomable and always had the right answer. She will be sorely missed by all. We have lost one of our own....
