i plan on using it for hiking/camping in South Africa and sometimes as an edc !!

Camo will be fine me thinks - sometimes the tactical can be atheft deterrent which is good !

I have always tried to have something foliage colored. Sometimes when i'm out dayhiking, i'll hang my pack in a tree or put it in some ground brush and wander around without it. Anyone that may walk down the trail will never see it.

I don't like ACU, I generally buy straight up Foliage stuff. It goes with pretty much anything.
