What does the Knife Center M390 have in terms of Maxx Glide, Assisted or other?

It's not just about opening though. I chose Maxx Glide, and prefer unassisted to assisted where possible, because assisted knives are harder to close. Also, one of the 'problems' I've had with Gun Hammers is that they kick so hard that, for the uninitiated, they often kick right out of your hand. Which is cool, but dangerous if someone's borrowing your knife. The M390 one isn't quite as bad, but both of the others have taken numerous tumbles to the ground since they jump right out of people's hands. I've had to start warning people to hang on really tightly to the knives.

I'm actually happy to hear they kick this hard. I can't spring for the forum knife right now so I picked up a regular production torpedo but all that was available was assisted. I'm not much of an assist fan, but now and then it's neat, especially when it's done right. After letting someone who knows nothing about knives try out my ProTech Godfather, I will never let a newbie 'borrow' or even open any of my autos or assisted knives. I almost cried when it flung out of his hand onto the floor. Luckily, the tip survived.
