The only reason it would be illigal is if it could be flipped open. If it can be then it's considered a "gravity opening" knife under the Crim Code. Let a store do the import for you and take the risk of confiscation at the border.
In my town, you can't carry a knife without a "professionnal" reason, but they don't care abour what you have at home. Except for what the federal government decided was illegal: switchblades and balis. Damn federals!
