Leaving it up to you to decide if it was worth it or not. I'm glad I had the earlier on to put it with. And I do like the drop blade better than the tanto. But, maybe that's just me?
You pinch the strap with your thumb and middle finger, flip open with fore finger. To close you pinch strap with thumb and middle finger then push on the blade spine with fore finger. Using your thumb to push strap up to close will only end up putting the back lock strap out of position. Not shy about using Buck's pictures and boilerplate either, except for the part about not allowed in Canada. 5 watchers this morning. I guess selling this way beats spending all day Saturday haunting garage sales looking for something to sell on eBay...
On a knife note, the lock on this one always bugged me. Anyone else feel that way about it. Maybe it's just my arthritic knuckles making it, uh, inconvenient to operate?
Very good example of one handed open to closed and put away.Well I didn’t get this one but I do have the 830 inferno from skblades. I don’t mean to side track the thread but someone was commenting about the action of the 830 earlier and id like to tell you how much I appreciate the marksman and it’s action.
This evening I was helping my son with a snake bit cow and giving her some electrolytes and water as she was getting dehydrated. We had to tube feed because she is having difficulty drinking well with a swelled nose and jaw.
We rigged up a tube with a plastic water bottle and used the bottle cap making a hole with my 303 cadet so we could leave the tube in and just change bottles. Each of the five bottles I had to cut a small hole to vent after connecting so the water would drain gradually. My son was keeping the tube in place and keeping bossie calm while I had to hold the tube end and cap with my left hand and change the bottles with my right. Each time removing my 830 marksman with my right hand to cut a vent hole and put it back in my pocket. It performed perfectly without a hitch. Great one handed smooth action made it easy! I’m really happy I have the marksman, it’s a great knife!
