I have been a member since 1999 and don't remember if I have ever posted on here. I have a knife collection I am considering selling and unsure as to how to do it. I would rather sell the complete collection but there are some switch blades in the collection, (approx. 65), so I may have to sell them separately. Any suggestions or experience in doing this would be greatly appreciated. Most of my collection is in excellent to nmint or mint condition with the exception of a few.

have you looked at the for sale subforums or read the stickies?
that shows you what to do.
first step is get a gold membership to sell.
right now you appear to be trying to get people to contact you so you can sell w/o a golf membership, which will get you banned

First step is to buy a gold Membership or platinum. Then you can post in the dedicated sections of the forums . Such as fixed blades individual or folders and so on . There's even sections for custom folders if you have such. Just my 2 cents but you'd be much better off and would be much more profitable even at very fair priced knives to sell prices to sell individually. I wouldn't post more then 10 or less at a time or it can get confusing to buyers and even yourself . Make sure you describe accurately. I also recommend reading the rules for each section and take a read threw those sales sectioned mentioned to get ideas and see how everyone else sets up there sales threads and descriptions of there knives for sale . If I can be any further assistance feel free to send me a pm with any and all questions .
Good luck with your sales 👍

Yep, the proper thing to do first is get a gold membership. If you truly intend to sell your knives, the membership fee will be well worth it. There's a lot of traffic on the exchange forum here, so if what you have is desirable, you should have no problem selling them here. Once you get your gold membership, if you still need advice on how to proceed, I'm sure we can all help you get off on the right foot. But until then, it's not proper etiquette for you to discuss selling.

You probably need to be careful with the switch blades in terms of selling. I know in my state, prior to the law change, it was legal to own them, but it was not legal to sell them out of state. Regular dealers often will not sell automatic knives online for the simple reason it forces them the burden of trying to determine what is legal in a given situation.

Besides what's already been mentioned about membership levels, the only advice I can give is don't sell your collection as a collection.
Whether here or on eBay, it doesn't matter, if you try to sell it all at once, you'll never get a good price.
The way to get the most is to sell each knife individually.
This obviously requires more effort on your part.
I guess you can split the difference and try selling them in groups, but the larger the group, again the more you'll probably need to discount the price.
Remember there will be exponentially less people willing to pay top dollar for a group of say, 5 knives in which they only really want 1 or 2 specific knives. The price people are willing to pay will reflect this.
