May I ask

Glad to hear it went smooth, brother.

Are you sure the bed is doing that or is it only the meds?

Good to hear that ya made it through easy. Rest up well, heal up quick! :)

get better soon Pop

He's right about the beds :thumbdn: ... the pump at the foot of the bed for the air mattress "whirrs and whines" all the time and it is very hard to sleep ...

Hope you have a quiet and speedy recovery at home :)

Got home a little bit ago.

All went smoothly.

Thanks for everything.

Gotta crash. All of their beds are set up to prevent bed sores, so they inflate/deflate about 1/2 - 3/4" every time ya move, so absolutely no sleep last night, despite the meds. Fluggin commies...

You should have just stabbed it :D Then no more issues. Glad you're back home and can finally get some sleep.

So...how many sponge baths did you ask for? ;)

looks like i'm late to the topic but i just sounded off on this forum for the first time just recently... i'm a newb and don't know you, nor anyone here but a major positive vibe sent up always helps though so +1 on my side here... get well man...
i've been trying to recover from a surgery and other crap within the past 2 years plus myself and still must use one of those air beds and am well acquainted with their annoying m.o. hehe... mine's on the slow cycle and actually barely working so i wind up laying down in a large collapsed hole most of the time, but those hospital - industrial strength - air beds inflate/deflate quickly and suddenly so it can jerk one right out of any chance of sleep, just as it takes one over.... takes a while to get used to it... also, one really has to be mega careful on those mattresses while 'playing' around with any sharp, shiny stuff , one slip or drop point first and it's all over for a $6k piece of equipment....
must be nice to be back on 'solid ground' mattress hehe... wishin' ya a speedy, total recovery....

Aww man, I just saw this otherwise I would have chimed in earlier...glad to hear it went well! Stay strong, keep positive, and stay away from that stress for optimal healing...hanging around the Busse forum here may be hazardous to your wallet, but it's great for your health!

Glad to hear everything went well and you are back home resting and healing.
I was helping Motionman2 move on Sat. - Monday and missed your request.

Does this mean you'll be fighting me for the lamb chops and 'nanas this June?

Get well soon Mike!
