may retreive long lost knife

I have been put off until just after the holidays! I have been inquiring with the Facilities manager every few days or so to stay on his radar. I will take pics.

OP went down the shaft already. His magnet-on-a-stick pulled a Smatchet out from under a pile of dead hoboe. The police still haven't released him.

See, I was figuring OP fell into the shaft and found his knife, but never got out of the shaft alive.
 
Well, sadly I did not find my knife. The elevator pit must hav been cleaned at some point because it was actually pretty decent looking for a 120 year old building. The good news is that the facilities manager suggested I file a reimbursement form. Maybe i'll soon be shopping for a current Delica! Sorry I don't have any exciting follow up. I did however find an old respirator kit in an old tin, complete with extra filters and literature.
 
so maybe you just got lucky, in that the find might be well worth more than a delica to the right buyer?
