Let this be our anthem cry; our folksy greeting and salutation to all brothern and sistern across the land. :)

"May the folksy be with you." Response:..(And also with you)

Hold your peanuts, your stockman, and oh ye, even your SAKs HIGH, and Let us shout our anthem unashamedly from the hills and hollers.

MAY THE FOLKSY BE WITH YOU!!!. AND ALSO WITH YOU!

Bring us your tired, your poor, your huddled mall ninjas longing to be free from the drudgery of carrying cold, titanium sided, heartless liner locks. Let us receive these lost souls and bring them into the fold of warm, bone handled love.

They're searching for something you know, these wandering non-folksies. The veil of instant, one handed gratification is blinding their inner folksy. But brothern and sistern, we have what they are searching for.

So, when they show up here texting lost and tired and empty, show them the way and greet them with a :) and say "May the folksy be with you". Someday they will say, "And also with you".

:D:D:D:D

Always good to start off the day with a liitle humor!

As good as a cup of strong Irish tea.

Now all we need is a secret handshake.

(With heavy breathing ala Darth Vader) "Luke, it's your father, come on over to the tactical side of the Force."

Do we really hafta hold our peanuts when we say it?

Great idea Kerry, It should be a hell of a lot of fun at the Blade show!

Robucks got me thinkin about the dang handshake now.

If you read that up there with the best 10 Commandments Charlton Heston voice and overacting you can muster, it sounds pretty darn convincing. :D

Any others...don't be shy. Just get up from your seat and walk down that isle. Yer among friends here. :)

I always thought the greetin' for Slipjoint owners was, "Whatcha carryin'?" at which point all kinds of knife talk flows forth, like, "Whatcha got to trade?". :D

Sign the letter "B" & tap your Heart & your best Toofy Grin!
"May the Folksy be with you, Brothern Kerry"!
I feel the love spreading already!
Blessings from Camp Bop Brotherns & Sisterns!

May the Folksy be with all of you.

Funny you should mention that Brutha. I happen to have a lil ole '79 Case Sunfish to trade up there in the lil ole swap meet thread.

I know of which the sod...uh...Khnutbuster of which you speak. I haven't forgotten. The winter doldrums have cast a dark cloud over my shop and put the slowdown on production for the moment. But ye verily the sun will again rise over the equator and bring with it much happiness. Then Knutbusters will emerge from the chilled ashes and rise like a.......(this winter blues stuff has me full of crap today...sorry :o :D)

I see Elder Bose has entered the Folksy confines. May the Folksy be with you! :D:thumbup: (ok...maybe too much coffee today )

This folksiness lends itself well to various permutations of greetings and other idioms such as:

What the folk? and Folk me! which account for most of my reactions to what I read online.

However, this being a family oriented, folksy forum, we'll keep the content Rated: G for all audiences. ;)
