That's Awesome! Definantly would look good on the wall! However for a rack that unique I'd have done a euro skull mount, but to each his own.

Holy crap! That's an insane rack, congrats to the hunter! Keep us posted if that's a new record!

WOW! Welcome to the corn patch :D

Here in the Ozarks, our Deer get to eat acorns and bark. But we get some nice-uns :)

Dave, green score is the "raw" score of a rack before the drying period is over and before they do a "full" scoring where they'll make a variety of deductions. This rack is a non-typical so it'll keep most of it's score, at least that's the way I remember how it's done.

WOW what a true monster. There is a young guy from my home town here in moose jaw sask that shot a new world record in velvet archery a little over 2 months ago. It scored 248 non typical. I dream of big white tail and have seen a few alive wow that is a true monster. congrats to who ever shot it.

Jason just wanna tell you a deer that ranks in the top 10 for white tail is worth over 1/2 a mil ya really thing a euro mount is in order.

No kidding!
How that did not end up as a full-body mount I will never know.
However, they may have the skull and cape in the freezer for later use.

While not quite as impressive, I shot this axis deer about two years ago in Texas. It ranked 7th for the year in the Records of Exotics.

Karl I know one of the taxidermists that went to look at milo hansons buck a few years back THE WORLD RECORD WHITE TAIL . It was shot 100 miles from my home. As the story goes milo was offered 250 k the day after he shot it and then 500 k a few weeks later. the guess timate is he made near 5 mil the first year of endorsments, interviews , shows and sales from t shirts posters and alike . It s unbelievable what kinda money big deer bring.

Whoa! Thats a beauty! I've had some nice bucks taken pretty close to my stands (not by me unfortunately) .... but nothing like that.

Shawn

When they brought the Hanson buck to Buckmasters people were lined up to pay $12 each to have their picture taken with the mount (probably not the real mount) and buying t-shirts and posters.

Will it is the real one he has it insured for over 5 mil and even if the horn breaks from the bullet hole now it doesnt matter because the offial score has been registered. I hear all the gossip living so close. Actually one of my close co workers hunts with Milo a fair amount they been friends for 20 years.
