Maybe a teaser for a new Voyager blade shape?

Even with SD in mind, is the blade design practical for that purpose? I know it’s an ancient design, but was it more decorative or does it actually offer better cutting performance. Not trying to be negative, actually looking to be educated on the designs purpose.

:) Long ago , I read some really weird stuff on the ancient kris making . Spooky , spiritual , sacred things . How that the maker's fingerprint was somehow forged right into the steel and the knife imbued with magical powers .

I have no idea , but I've seen some crazy , "impossible" things . So ...who knows ?

More functionally , down to earth : I would think that the wavy blade would act like a multiple recurve or very large serrations . o_O

I'm not sure I'd ever buy one , except to play with and find out how it works for myself . ;)

can we get an XL version of the black talon blade in a voyager or recon 1 style frame? ......hell, I'd buy it in the espada frame.... the fancy espada....

THAT would be money....

but yes, I'm damn sure in for a Kris as well.....

....

Sharpening: It's a self defense knife. How often are you going to use this on Amazon packages to the point of needing to sharpen it? ....

Cold Steel cracks me up, but I think they are honest and they are right. I guess my super steel should go in my secondary knife for opening the dreaded Amazon cartons, and good old dependable AUS 8 and 10 are fine for the pocket sword.
