Maybe the most used W&SS knives !

Okay I'll add a pic of my Izula. I wish small fixed blades worked out better for me because I do like them a lot. :D

In that size range it is definitely my BHK bushbaby. Amazing how much I can get done with it. My BHK Frontier Valley Patch gets a lot of use also.

My most used knife is 3 7/8" long Jarvenpaa puukko. For out in the woods, if I need to do more than it can do, I use an axe.

I do have larger blades -- leuku that I use for field dressing and butchering, and a filet knife. I have smaller knives for carving wood. But yes, the most used is under 4".

Some GREAT looking wilderness knives you folks have here. I don't have real pics of my knives yet, but I will remedy that shortly. It's nice to find a place where folks actually USE their knives for their intended purpose rather than from an arm chair. ;)

I have been looking all over the forum over the last few days, and I can see a well made custom from one of the MANY talented makers here will be in my future. :D

My current knives used:

ESEE #4

Tops Pasayten Lite Traveler

Vic Pioneer EDC

Super tinker in my survival pack

Silky Saw Pocket boy for backpacking/camping trips over 2-4 days (and when inclement weather is likely)

I look forward to learning new skills here on this sub forum from all of you!

My smallest fixed blades are my Fallkniven F1 and a custom by G.L. Drew. But neither of them are as small as 3" closer to a 4" blade.

I have used many of these, but some are new. Top 3 left are 2 Fiddleback EDC's, great knives each one unique. I have the Bark River STS-3 on my hip alot, it's a great cutter, as well as their PSK in CM 154.
Other knives are obvious makers, carry the Eskabar all the time and the Tiger Knapp from BHK.

Here's a sampling. I got the Blind Horses a few weeks ago. I especially like the Frontier Valley with the Elk handles--it's already seen a lot of use.

This is my most recent pocket sized fixed blade. Just got it last month, and so far it's my favorite. It's going to see a lot of use.

I posted this in the other thread. This one is mine. Made by Jimmy Wintrcek here in Texas. It has a 2 7/8" ATS-34 blade, and mesquite handle scales on its 4" handle.

northern's post about a one knife scenario and his little Mark Wohlwend blade got me to thinking.
I think most of us on here love playing with big knives but in reality it is probably our small fixed blades that see the most use. I'm talking about blades up to around 3" long that can be carried in our pockets, on our belts or hung around our necks depending on preference.
These knives are big enough to get most tasks done from food prep and trap making to processing wood for fire starting. These knives are also quite sheeple friendly which helps when carried and used in popular areas.

Anyway here are my little workers, the two ML's and the Mark Wohlwend Bushcrafter see the most use. Let's see yours !
