FYI, I just measured my 174 and the blade is 3.188" from tip to the front end of the frame. I guess you could round that off to 3.25"

I see, so unless there are two versions of the Cutback the website must have it wrong .

My Cutback which was purchased at Bass Pro measures just about 3.25 depending from where on the handle radius you measure.
