I have a mint condition Tom Mayo Dr. Death framelock with contoured titanium handle slabs and a handrubbed CPM 154 blade for sale. I have found the Dr. Death to be the most comfortable of all of Tom's folders for my medium-sized hands to grip, and it possesses a 4 1/4" blade that is versatile for a wide variety of tasks. The blade steel, CPM 154, is the new advanced particle steel version of 154CM with additional vanadium, and from my experience, it holds a super-sharp edge even better than S30V under normal use. This particular Dr. Death is a little bit beefier than the norm, with a 3/16" thick blade instead of a 5/32", and the butt end of the handle is also shaped for use as a glass breaker.

The Dr. Death listed here never been carried, used, or resharpened, and the original edge on it from Tom is sharp. There are no marks on this piece that I can find, and I will say that this folder is in dead mint condition. The opening action is very smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is dead perfect.

For payment on this piece, I strongly prefer USPS money orders, but I will also accept PayPal or personal check if I know you. If you are paying by PayPal, I will cover the fees, but the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I reserve the right to wait for personal checks to clear before I ship.

I will consider trades (with appropriate cash adjustment) for custom folders and custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:

JL Williams
Tim Galyean

Gregg, I appreciate the offer. That Hara is really nice, but not quite what I'm looking for right now. Thanks anyway!

Still available!

dang, I am sorry that my weekly knife quota is full. That is just beautiful, and they sure don't come around every day.
