This is a full size Dr. Death - 4 1/4 inch blade and 5 5/16 inch handle. The blade is CPM 154v and the knife is set up for tip-down carry.
Full disclosure: I got this knife from a dealer, who got it from another dealer, who got it from Tom. The blade action was too "easy" so I sent it to Tom to look over. He wrote back:
Ok......that thing was a pain.......although it looked new, someone had been
flipping it open for a long time, there as a big groove in the lock face and
the ball bearing was worn down almost flat..........wierd.
I put a new ceramic ball in it so that wont ever wear out......and rebuilt
the lock with my carbizer.......Tom
Like I said.......it looked new from outside..........thing was still very
sharp, it bite me once.........no big deal, I love a challenge!
As far as I know, this knife hasn't been carried or cut anything. It looks mint - I don't see a mark on it. With the ceramic detent, it's better than new.
Because of the backstory on this knife, I'm asking $925 shipped CONUS. First committment to buy takes it.
