Mayo: Small Wharny Covert CF

Lucky for me, Steve is not my only customer!!!!:D

Actually, I came up with the idea before Strider was making folders, there just arent that many of these floating around.......and although I partially agree with you about it, the combo makes for a VERY light knife, and everyone likes variety, it is the spice of life!

One more thing.......this design actually started out as a wharncliff, but thru the years it was modified to have more curve and more pronounced point, then a very popular knifemaker started making one almost identical so I changed the handle design a little bit.....thus the name: Modified Wharnie!!!!!:) :p :)

1. Nested liners in skeletonized handle scales would produce lighter still, but it wouldn't have the Frankenstein look that these knives do....Tom, can't emphasize my distaste of the aesthetic enough.

2. Am STILL waiting for a knife from you, and have the money ready....swedge on the back of the blade, please.;)...actually, I figure to snag a tasty bit of steel from you at Costa Mesa.:D

3. Yeah, yeah...variety...embrace diversity, woohoo....what the look does is clearly define, for me, those that SHARE elements of a similar taste to mine, and those that are diametrically opposite.

Thanks for taking the time to post, amigo!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson
