The coffee thread inspired me.

Which is it everyone?

Connor or Floyd? 08/26/18
(spoiler alert) Connor in the 4th... if it lasts THAT long!
 
Most of the experts think Mayweather will pick and poke his way to a win. I believe McGregor will walk through the puff and nail Mayweather like he's never been hit before. Keep in mind that my record of picking winners is beyond bad.
 
Its a boxing match. Mayweather by decision or late stoppage.

If it was MMA, McGregor would win quickly.

If I wanted to argue for McGregor, I'd point out that Mayweather is 40, hasn't fought in 2 years, and is fighting a naturally larger man.

I have to agree!!! Hope Connor gets his ass handed to him. He may be hot stuff but I don't like seeing people act like it.
 
We all know what Karma does to a person.
Connor may have caught Karma's attention so I have some doubt as to how effective he may be against (arguably) the best boxer in our lifetime.
However... the deck IS stacked against Floyd.

Adding to that... Has anyone followed Connor's camp?
He should be sparring Olympic light heavy/heavyweights but he's sparring w/ welter weights, and middleweights.

Just a bit of background... Look up Dougie DeWitt.
He was my BFF as a kid, and by the time he was 16 we were riding in Benz's.
NOT claiming I know anything but I've seen horses run, and I know where to place my money.

I don't believe Connor has the skill to get an opening like that, or the speed to land a shot with 100% of his power. Could he knock him out with his power? No question. If he got one in, he'd destroy him. Does he have the speed and skill to get a shot like that off against likely the best defensive specialist and definitively the quickest fighter of our time? Doubtful.
 
I'll admit, I only have any interest in watching at all if somewhere near me is showing it for free. But, I'm pretty curious to find out exactly what happens. All this crazy talk and flagrancy is embarrassing and ridiculous on both sides.
 
Use Ronda for an example of that!

If she stuck to HER game (JUDO) she may well have still been champ.
Same may apply to Connor.

BUT that F'n PAYDAY??? win/win
 
I think they're friends because Mayweather just gave Conor a payday the UFC couldn't provide in many fights combined. It's all a big money scam anyway! :D:rolleyes:o_O:cool:
 
May just be so.

Floyd's name has been a UFC staple for a couple years now. Nuttin' like a good scrap to make 100 Mill.

I'm sending a facebook "friends" request to both of them right after this. Don't rat me out! ;)
 
I predict Mayweather wins by Connor DQing himself because he forgets he can't throw kicks or shoot a double leg.
