Flats are left raw, just soaked overnight in vinegar and wire brushed after forging.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are made in satin finish with scotch brite.

Blade length - 4"
Blade width - 13/8"
Thickness at the back of the spine
6" overall length, 3" blade length
Steel: W2 with hamon, tapered tang for improved balance
Handle: stabilized Bubinga with red liners
Hardware: stainless pins
Blemish Notes for the knife snob: pin position is not symmetrical (rear pin not centered vertically) and there are some minor scratches on one side of the blade perpendicular to the spine (did not show up in the pictures)
