I purchased this flashlight in 2009 directly from the maker, Don McLeish. It was intended to be used as a bedside nightstand light for middle of the night puttering around. Well, it was never pressed into duty for that, as I ended up using a McGizmo Sapphire for that. So the SunDrop was rarely used for anything, and has well under 1 hour of actual runtime. It has never been carried or used outside of my home.
