McGuyver Reboot!

I'd be happy if they just refrain from the blatant anti-gun bias that infected the original show.
But that's the whole point of Macgyver. Because of a traumatic experience with a gun, as explained in the earliest episodes, he refuses thereafter to use one and resorts to his ingenuity with alternate methods instead. MacGyver with a gun becomes another show. BTW, not everyone is in love with guns.
Like he said. Anti-gun bias.

Oh jeez, what's with the reboots? Don't they ever stop?

Without going too much to the political side, is it really that serious show to get upset about anti-gun bias? :D
I mean, 80's and early 90's was golden age of gun toting macho action movies. McGyver was and is a refreshing alternative to that. And I LOVE action flicks.

It's the character's bias, not the show's. There is lots of gun toting in most episodes on both sides of the law. Although a supporter of the Second Amendment, I also think it's good to have reminders that there can be solutions to life's problems other than firepower.

Amazon Deal of the Day: Macgyver: The Complete Collection, 39 DVDs for $36.99. I may buy one. I never learned to whistle, play guitar or throw an SAK.

We all have something to learn.

Of course there is. Sometimes a firearm is not a good solution. Those solutions call for high explosives.

^^This :D Personally I think over kill is underrated.
But I believe the term anti-gun bias means anti-gun bias and if that anti-gun bias is the characters' or the shows doesn't change the fact that it is, in fact, anti-gun bias.

As if that's a bad thing. ;)
