A fantastic Bowie from the Australian Journeyman Smith, Shawn McIntyre. Shawns making me another one, so time for this to move on.

Forged 1073 and 15n20 Tiger Mosaic Damascus blade with an unsharpened Clip, BL = 9”, BW = 1 1/4", OAL = 14 1/2", Blade is Flat Ground, Sculptured and Blued Steel fittings, handle is Sculpted and contoured Gidgee wood accented by 5 SS pins. Comes with a Superb Tooled Leather Button sheath made by Shawn. Fit and finish is excellent.

That is a beauty. I tend not to like damascus, but the pattern on that appeals to me, and I like how it's reflected in the sheath and handle too. Really exquisite piece. I think that's one of the best pieces I've seen from him. Makes me sorely tempted even though I don't collect bowies.
 
Once upon a time, back when Shawn McIntyre was known as Shawn Who, I owned this gorgeous Bowie.
The Damascus is super, you will not be disappointed! :cool:

I actually got to see this one in person before Shawn shipped this out. It is an incredible piece and like all his work, is the definition of precision fit and finish. The best part is how Shawn's composed the patterning of damascus, Ringed Gidgee and tooling on the sheath to match a visual theme. Jason.
 
I'll echo what has been said, Shawn's F&F is absolutely top notch, whomever buys this will surely love it. :)
