mcmaster carr 11 second oil

I just got some 11 second oil from McMaster Carr. Does it need to be preheated like canola oil or not. I will mainly be heat treating 3/16" - 1/4" 1084.

Sorry if my answer is elsewhere but I searched and didn't find anything.

Generally, super fast oil like Parks 50 is the only kind that doesn't require heating.

Bring it to about 120° ish and you'll be good.
