McMaster Carr 11sec oil color?

Is it supposed to be brown? lol

Bought a pail a long time ago but have been using my parks 50 as mostly doing 1084 / 1095 etc. Opened it today as I wanted a slower oil for some 01 and was surprised to see it was a brown color like used motor oil? also had quite a different smell than the parks 50...

Being used to the parks 50 which is near mineral oil like, i thought for a sec they sent me the wrong thing....

Yep, I have the same two oils and the MC-Carr oil is much darker than the P-50 and smells different too.

Ours is very dark too..10x darker than parks..
