you see these mcusta lock-knifes .. really nice blades, but the scales/handles ..
a mcusta blade in a kinda benchmade -ish handle/scales [or so] be feasible at all?
hmm .. actually, be better w/liner lock since thats what its made for

The ones I've seen have been rather nice. Depends on what you have and in order to know what I'm up against I need to see it.

Ok now I see that the folder is something I can work with. What BenchMade is it you are thinking of when you say 'Benchmadeish scales'?

see i just got a 556 that i like .. and i was comparing them .. thinking this mcusta would be so much better in the benchmade handle .. but this blade is an other aminal
the mcusta liner-lock seems flimsy [tho actually it prolly isnt] .. dont get sidetracked by the Benchmade reference, its YOU im asking
something functional simple and dark, maybe with the slight swell of the benchmade, tho flat would work too
what have u got to hand that u think will suit, its quite a dark-figured blade, darker than the pics

I keep a wide variety of things on hand from G10 both textured and smooth to Micarta.

If you have an idea of what you want I need a bit more clarity. I'm not clear on what you are asking me to do and I have trouble following your thought process.

Are you asking me to make a new lock and set of liners as well as a set of scales, just a set of scales or something else? I'm not sure. The 556 is a mini griptilian and whole different locking mechanism and body style than a liner or frame lock. That is confusing for me as well. I don't stock plastic handle material if that is what you want.

I can rebuild the entire body using that blade to build around for steel or titanium, add scales to the existing liners or slab scales making it a frame lock. Its all up to you and what you are prepared to spend.
