MCUSTA, underrated?

Yup, awesome knives.

I used to have Mcusta Take Cocobolo. I really the look of bamboo handle, especially in Cocobolo. But knife came not really sharp to compare with my Spydies or Moki. Damascus didn't impress me. Blade was off center. I was thinking may be for couple month to keep it or not and I decided to let it go. Currently I have no plans to buy any more Mcusta. I almost like Bamboo, but damascus bolster kind of turning me off, plus it kind of expensive for partial satisfaction.

Now I'm thinking about getting the tactility instead! I'm really loving the look of that Corian handle. I'd rather have the plain VG-10 blade over the damascus version, but I like the thumb stud over the thumb hole. Thumb stud comes only on the damascus version. They also started making a slightly smaller blade size which I prefer as well. The deep carry pocket clip, tip-up carry, and custom handle w/ finger grooves, VG-10, are all features that really set this knife apart, especially in this class / price range!

Mcusta makes very nice knives in Japan for a decent price, I think they're very underrated.
