ME knife laws? Any restrictions on shipping Bowie knives there?

No. In fact to my knowledge there is NO state anywhere in the entire US with such a law. Bowie knives have no conclusive, hard-line definition in law or even among collectors, so any laws on the matter of buying and owning them would be so vague a to restrict kitchen knives.

The only possession law in Maine on knives is no switchblades:

Now carrying a bowie knife is another matter:

In a nutshell, don't threaten people with it and don't carry it concealed.

Unless of course the knife is one designed for when you're hunting, trapping or molesting fish like they apparently do in Maine according to this law.
