Today was one of those days when you forget all your troubles and feel how lucky you are to be able to enjoy such a hike as the one I had !

We soon started to get above the tree line and although the going was tough the views were worth the effort !

It was real hot today but Maisy kept finding little pools of water that she could take a dunk in to cool off, only trouble was she would always run back to me to shake !!!!!

Hope you enjoyed the views half as much as I did !!!

very nice pics, i see that it's hot there. nice contrast from last week i bet...

Great pics and a beautiful area!

My Bandicoot is my favorite general-purpose wilderness knife. I thought my Howling Rat would be, but I always seem to gravitate toward the Coot.

we still have to organize that vancouver island hike! quickly before the sun disapears

days off vary from week to week for me, this week its thurs/fri, next is tue/sun, havent gotten the planner for anything after that

Gorgeous pics  Thanks.

I'm sure Maisy thought you looked like you could use a little second hand water :D

Yeah, what *is* it about dogs that they can't shake off by themselves--but need to run back to everybody and douse them? It must be... fun?

Great pics, my favorite has to be the 3rd down with the little lake.

Thanks for sharing.

Great pics. What kind of dog is Maisy? Pitbull? Boxer?
If I came across a shirtless guy with a knife on his belt in the middle of the woods, I'd probably run away.

great looking pics once again pit... you gotta love that maisy dog, she was definately poseing for the camera in that one pic...:o
