Me Needs A New Axe...Suggestions?

You will love it Nikki. A xmas present that you may well enjoy for the rest of your life. Please check out videos on its safe use. I was ignorant myself and glad that I learned safe\proper use of this tool.

I'm in a position financially right now to get some nice gear here and there, so that's what I'm trying to do. You never know when things will change. The goal is for it to be a lifetime axe. And I have been watching lots of videos, thanks for the heads up. I don't want to hurt myself or my tools.

All true enough. I know that lower priced tools don't have the same cache', but I have a few Cold Steel tomahawks that have been great fun also.... Trying to type this and munch Greek ribs simultaneously, the ribs are winning.
:D

I still don't know what model the small Wetterlings is and I suppose that I could measure it for confirmation. But I REALLY love handling the little booger. The bigger axe is the G.B. small forest. Which is also small enough for me to use one handed as I am a large person. I can see it being a good fit for a smaller lady (or anyone for that matter). Really great tools.

Mmmm Greek ribs. Yeah, I was stuck between the wildlife hatchet and the small forest. Ended up ordering the small Forrest, just wanted something more versatile. And I'm not a small lady ;) in a thick talk Swedish lady, lol. Oh these Viking bones.
