You know...

I have had some great transactions (and interactions) here on the Forum. All of my trades have gone great.

This "place" has made me feel welcome as a part of a community. This is a great community!

I don't know why it is that when I first log onto BF, I check this particular part... GB&U.

I HATE hearing about people being taken advantage of... I was that guy in high school (you remember me...) that Bullied the bullies... meaning I always tried to help out those who were picked on, by strong-arming the guys where doing the picking-on...

I guess my point is that here in cyber-space, all of our interactions are based on TRUST. I value my integerity and honor more than any possession I own. (I don't consider my Girlfriend or Pup possessions, otherwise they would be my top two)

I am a newbie here still.... When I will become otherwise, I don't know... I was pleasantly surprised to see my name as a post here... it was good on both threads... thank goodness.

Anyway, help a brother out, and let's overlook the obvious S**tBags and just have fun learning from each other... (Someday I'll have something worth learning about, and hope to have a forum like this to share it on.. :))

Dave I'm right there with you on trying to overlook the SPUNK LICKER'S,unfortunately when they screw one they screw all.I would have to say that since I have joined the forum(s) every aspect of my life improved. The way I deal with my everyday life has change and I look at every interaction with the public like I would a deal on the forum.Honesty,staight forward,and just plain old fashion trust. Screw me once and it's all over between us. Keep it safe and simple. These are some of traight's(sp?) that I've enhanced since I found this place!!! My true thank's to all of you (EXCEPT the few CRACK smoker's that have surfaced in the recent few month's). Thanks Mike

I could not agree with you more. Since becoming an active member of BF I have learned so much about a hobby I was at first not certain I could enjoy. I thought "knife collecting" was boring and a knife only needed replacing when it broke, and anything more than $20.00 was a waste of money. I now am absolutely addicted, the top of my frig in the kitchen is loaded with my EDC's, I cannot learn knowledge fast enough to get over the "novice hump", and $200.00 is a inexpensive knife.
I have also discovered throughout the almost two years of visiting BFC, that one statement stands alone and remains as strong as it was the very first time I read it:

A Man is only as good as his word. Any deal conducted between
people with integrity, credibility, honesty and diplomacy SHALL
be a GREAT DEAL

I do not remember who wrote it, but I know that if every deal were to be conducted with these character traits at the core, there would not be any need for GB&U. The most important thing I have discovered here is that once you have burned someone INTENTIONALLY, your days are numbered. That is the way this place seems to me to function and I am very happy that 99.99% engage in GREAT DEALS.....Ira

I agree with all you have said. I thought about this last night a lot after posting... You know... if there weren't Human D*ucheBags out there... Would I really enjoy the people that I respect as much as if there weren't? I don't think so...

So thanks to all of you good people out there (I have met TONS) of them here!
