Mean little bastard. I mean bowie...

Warren/Willie ;) :)

Trust me, I know the "million mile per hour/never shuts down mind" ALL TOO WELL... :D

I have thought (a LOT) about having a different "brand" for this type of stuff, i.e. name, logo, mark, etc.

That damn Burt Foster already used what is, IMHO, the most brilliant one--- with his Blue Collar line. That Burt... he's a thinker! :) :D (for those who don't know, Burt is a friend and I have the utmost respect for him as a man and as a bladesmith).

I have had some other ideas along those lines, but haven't actually put them into action just yet.

Thanks guys! :)

Let's face it some of us really get off on using and carrying great knives

I buy some to set in boxes and I buy others to use

The ones I use tend to be favorites :)

Dan Winkler has done an exceedingly good job of branding himself and doing a different line from what he was known for

His tactical hawks which are not cheap by any means have only made his period pieces more rare and desirable

Last time I saw him I believe was Vegas, Matt Diskin and I had a drink with him and Karen and a few Seal Team guys

He has a huge hardcore following

That only makes his brand stronger

He seems very happy and very busy :)

My Concerta has really helped with the million miles per hour brain!!!! I forgot to take it today, and I have been all over the shop doing a bit of everything, but finishing nothing. :grumpy::rolleyes:

I watched your sanding video again today, since my New Years Resolution was to never say "OK, good enough" ever again. I will do a perfect 220g finish and stop before a sloppy 400g finish. (In case you missed it I sent you an e-mail about the wood we were discussing. I know you are busy, but thought I would mention it in case you missed it.)

To have a quality custom knife that is designed for the abuse of daily carry is a beautiful thing. I will buy one and use it with my EDC. Contact me when you do a run. You have a willing customer.
