Mean Street Ergo, Would you pay $550?

I have a feeling the exchange rate will recover by the end of this year, or sometime next year. For now I'll wait unless there is something too amazing to pass up.

I would love some infi but price is lil high for me 100 more could have got battle saw or ash2

Almost pulled the trigger on the BG Ergo, but the $57 to ship a blade north of the border is 1/3 the price of the knife. Thats pretty steep to ship an 8" blade. Mind you, UPS hoses Canadians, and on top of that $57 we will have to pay taxes and whatnot when it gets here.

If there was a coated infi cg version I would probly pull the trigger I like the sr101 but still need a sheath for my bgad

I'm passing on it with U.S. Currency living in the U.S., it is of my opinion that it will do nothing my Rodent Solution won't do.

For an EDC I want smaller, bring on the CG MBC!!!!!!!!!

I already IWB EDC an RS and it is still barely shy of too much, I really think a very small sub 8" fixed is ideal and best suited for front pocket carry in Kydex pants. Keep in mind by EDC I mean for everywhere including the workplace. When off work and darting around town I slap on my CGSOB.

Generally when there is an LE (limited edition) there will be a CG (combat grade). You fellas may want to hold out for that... of course there are no guarantees.

Honestly, I don't usually get into the LE's. I just strip the CG. It isn't as pretty, but I'm not so into pretty knives.

.

If I really wanted it I would buy it. (Actually, just placed my order.) If there is anything I have learned in 22 years of Busse buying, it is this. There are several I wished I had bought. There are none that I look at and think, "I wish I had not bought that." Another thing that I have learned is that the monetary value of a thing is meaningful only to the buyer and seller ( and perhaps the buyer's spouse.)

Of course I am 69 now and not inclined to wait anymore.

Awesome knife, but considering the ganza amsmo was around low $200 with dcbb blade. this is no deal.

I actually got really lucky with my American Regulator. It was shipped by USPS and I didn't pay any Canadian taxes or duties, probably not something that happens all the time though, kind of a hit or miss thing.

See now if there was a USPS option, I'd probably grab one. It doesn't cost more than $25 USD to ship a blade here.

Cost exchange, import duty and secondary mark up is 3 big costly things for those outside of the U.S. every now and then we get lucky and the sender ships it as gift or doesnt out a high value on it then we dont get slammed on duty. Ohhh and you want bad! I paid $350 duty when I bough my custom shop gladius!!!

Infi for choppers SR101 for smaller blades. I'm getting the BG version for sure. It looks phenomenal.

INFI for smaller blades does make sense since it has significantly higher corrosion resistance.

I use to be a fan of SR101 edge holding but now I prefer naked blade and IMO INFI is just better a better option.

You shouldn't pay any duty when an item is made in the USA. NAFTA dictates that. However....UPS charges it anyway. It has to have the Made In USA stamp on the box, and then you have to fight them for it. Thats why USPS is so much better.

Yea I always go usps so its handed over to canada post i dislike ups cause its handed to purolator and there horrible. Does anything Busse send have a made in USA on the box?

I still almost always get duty charges cause most just come in the usps boxes anyways and Nothing is ever written that it was made in USA.

If Busse could look into Canadian packaging/shipping a little more, I bet he would sell more blades here.
