If you or anyone you know have knowledge of this Desert Warfare Mean Street, please contact your nearest Gravelface, there may be a huge reward of gratitude to any party that may lead to the positive ID of this blade.

Basically, I know it is a Desert Warfare Mean Street..is it apprentice, Infi, custom....etc. The Fatty is just there for reference.

i think the apprentices are all sans talon hole.

looks like choil was ground down/modded.

Looks to me like it was done aftermarket. I don't recall seeing any shop knives that had coating all the way to the pommel, then went satin/blasted the rest of the way. Plus, the look of the coating near the sans-talon hole looks homebrew as well.

I'd guess modded INFI. Dunno.

If it was done after market, the scales were removed and then replaced.....you can see some grind marks that the scales cover......they would have be damaged otherwise......

Sounds interesting. I'll bet Hammy knows -- his hoofprints are all over this one. :D

It's mine!!! Send it back! You've got my addy!

(Congrats on that score!)

Unless there are 2 like that... that would be the Desert Warfare MS that I use to have... Can't remember where I got it... but was told that it's condition was the way it left Busse

Sometimes it is done to make the knife legal for example in Russia.
the knives with such a big front quard (more than 5 mm) are illegal there.

I don't care who blames who.....Blue Label...you have any clue if this was a shop job?!
