I'm back from the field and just wanted to say a few things about the Mean Street loaner that I got from Andy, until my Badger-E comes in.
First off: Thanks to Andy for the use of the Mean Street. Good guy to deal with.
Second: This is a nice knife! For general cutting in the field, it worked ouy great. Carries well, I sometimes forgot it was there.
The thickness did not hurt my cutting performance. Cut tinder and kindling for fires, some food and fabric/rope.
I hope that I enjoy the Badger-E this much.
