Well, got my three Matriarchs today. I'm telling ya... It's mean & ugly, like bear would be protecting a cub!

Thanks for making it available to forum members! The heavy weight Spydie T-shirt is an added bonus.

According to Mike, I'm receiving the first official BladeForums Matriarch sheath. Already in the mail. Ain't it great to see this kind of response and turnaround from dealers and people like Mike Sastre. Sure makes my day.

Mike tells me he's cooked up some matte CF Concealex for the first time which he likes better for the Matriarch.

That's really cool with me!

I'll post back with color and impressions when the sheath comes.

No T-shirt, must be for larger orders.
 
The T-shirt must be for a three knife order. I got three knives and a t-shirt. Only problem is I wear a 2XL and the shirt is a L. The only one in the family that can wear it is my 5 year-old Grandson.

Oh well. The knives are great and thanks for the shirt.

Got my Matriarch last week. I had to put it in it's box, on the "edge shelf" for fear that start carrying it....Oh, this is a knife! I'm very glad that there will only be 500 of these in the states...I'd hate to face an assailant carrying one. My aikido isn't that good yet!

I bought two and got no shirt. I ordered my 3rd yesterday.....I'll let you know if I get a shirt or not. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the order total.

Got the sheath from Mike Sastre. It's nice! The matte CF Concealex is a nice match with the Matriarch. They just look good together.

When the sheath first came it was a little tight. After working it a little I've got it exactly where I like it. Secure, but pulls nicely with one hand.

All you Matriarch owners should get at least one of these. They are sweeeet and buying one provides BladeForums with some income. It's a good deal!

Sent a batch of Matriarch sheaths to Spark last Friday, so they'll be in his hands today or tomorrow. Matte Carbon Fiber Concealex w/black eyelets.
